I think I shrieked...or maybe it was a muffled scream. Never in a million years did I ever expect him to even try to pull the white athletic socks with the sandals. He was serious about this. However, as soon as he heard the scream, he said "ok I was just checking!" This offense is pretty high up on the pet peeve list for me. I also hate the shorts, with black socks and white tennis shoes. Makes me cringe!
The only time I can handle the athletic sock with a sandal, is when it's socks with flip flops. This has only be pulled off by a hot strapping young surfer. It was still pretty nerdy but somehow it works. What can I say, I grew up in California.
Very touristy... I think Mario's onto the next fashion trend.

ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. What the hell was he thinking? I am totally there with you on the socks and flip flops only very athletic surfer boys can pull it off and I think that is because I am so distracted by their physique that I could careless what they have on their feet. LOL...
ReplyDeleteThey do look like chubby toddlers feet, but no they are my husbands feet. I just realized that I'm a total hypocrite! I would totally put my kids in this...however Mario should know better...hehe.
